Our workshops deliver a intensive learning environment from seasoned performers and instructors from around the mainland and Hawaii. Previous instructors have included Patrick Babbitt of IO West, Mike Brown of New York's People's Improv Theater, and Kyle Isao from Los Angeles.
Theater and Performance Programs
Unscripted Theater Drop-In Classes are held every Tuesday from 7:30pm to 9:30pm at the COOP at Ward Warehouse, 2nd Floor, Diamondhead side. Classes have a monthly focus and teach fundamentals of performance art. Students from these classes are invited to join the advanced Art of Improv program. Classes are $10 each or $35 for a month.
The Teen Improv Classes were created to provide a positive experience for everybody 13-17 years old, building on exercises and lessons from the Unscripted Theater Drop-In Classes. Classes are $40 a month. Join our mailing list to be notified of the next set of classes.
The Art of Improv with Think Fast is an 8 week session improvised theater program. Building on the fundamentals of improvisation learned in the Drop In Classes, the program teaches advanced techniques, philosophies on stage performance, team development and specialized formats. The Summer Youth Improv Programis an 8-week training program designed for ages 8-15 years old. Students meet once a week to train and socialize with their teammates and develop as unique and creative people using the performing art of Improvisation.
